Privacy

What All Things Home Nairobi learns about you when you use this website, and what happens to it.

Your order and WhatsApp

Your order list is kept in this browser, on your own device, so it’s still there when you come back. It isn’t sent anywhere until you choose Send on WhatsApp.

Send on WhatsApp opens WhatsApp with your order, your name and your area typed in, and nothing is sent until you send it there yourself. Once you do, we receive the message with your WhatsApp number and name, like any WhatsApp message. WhatsApp is run by Meta, under WhatsApp’s own privacy policy.

The contact form

If you send us a message through the form, we receive your name, the phone number or email address you give, and your message, by email. The email is delivered by Resend, an email service, which handles it only to deliver it.

To keep out spam, the site counts how many messages arrive from one internet connection in a minute. Your IP address is used for that count and nothing else: it isn’t kept with your message or put in the email.

Cookies and analytics

The site sets no cookies of its own. Your order list is remembered in this browser, and never sent to us.

Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits to the site, so we can see which pages are read. It sets no cookies and doesn’t follow you to other sites.

Who else handles it

  • Meta, which runs WhatsApp: your order and your messages.
  • Resend: the contact form’s email, to deliver it.
  • Cloudflare: it hosts the site, so it serves every page and sees your IP address, as any web host does. It also runs Web Analytics and the spam count.

We don’t sell what you send us, or use it for advertising.

How long we keep it

We keep your messages and orders only as long as we need them to answer you and to complete and deliver your order.

Your rights

Under Kenya’s Data Protection Act, 2019, you can ask to see what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Message us on WhatsApp on 0718 753907. If you’re unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner (ODPC).
